Workday Student: Strategy and Readiness Project

The Workday Student Strategy and Readiness Project marks the first step of implementing Workday Student at MSU Denver. In the coming months, campus teams will engage in Business Process Alignment (BPA) sessions to identify gaps and risks. Building on the outcomes of the Strategy and Readiness Project, the Workday Student Implementation Project will officially begin in the spring and span three years.

Skype to Teams Migration

The Skype to Teams Migration Initiative is a year-long project aimed at updating and modernizing the University’s communication systems by transitioning the campus telephone system’s software from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams. Upon completion, University phone calls will be made via the Microsoft Teams app, replacing the previously used Skype for Business app. This significant change will impact all MSU Denver staff, faculty, and students.

Network Modernization Initiative

The Network Modernization Initiative is a three-year project to improve and modernize MSU Denver’s network infrastructure by replacing aging wired and wireless network equipment. In addition to providing a more stable and reliable foundation for our enterprise networks, this project will also provide greater monitoring capabilities and security measures for increased cyber security – all in service of the University’s number one strategic goal to attract, prepare, and graduate students equipped to succeed in the 21st century.
